It’s Nice to Meet You
A calm and safe space for adults moving through life transitions, with advanced knowledge of perimenopause.
You’re here because something in your life has shifted, maybe suddenly, maybe slowly ,and you’re trying to make sense of it. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are in this season. My role is to help you feel understood, supported, and more like yourself again.
I specialize in working with adults moving through life transitions and have advanced understanding of the mental health effects of perimenopause. These experiences can bring emotional, physical, and identity-level changes that are often misunderstood or minimized. You deserve a space where your experiences are taken seriously and explored with care.
Perimenopause is a profound transition, not just a medical one. It affects emotions, relationships, identity, and daily functioning. Yet so many women are told to “push through,” “calm down,” or “wait it out.”
I believe you deserve better.
My work is grounded in the belief that when you understand what’s happening inside you, emotionally, hormonally, and psychologically, you can move through this stage with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Hello and welcome, I’m Bree.
I appreciate you being here and giving yourself space to explore what you need. I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker, with over a decade of experience specializing in supporting adults through difficulties in all stages of life.
Being a therapist is a privilege. I’ve always had curiosity and interest in behavior and the ways we interact with one another. I love hearing about life stories, learning about different experiences, thoughts, perspectives and seeing vulnerability and growth.
Clients and colleagues have described me as “nurturing, “personable”, “reliable” and “warm.” Empathy, compassion and authenticity come naturally to me, including in our work together.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at California State University Fullerton and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work, with a Specialist in Aging Certificate at the University of Michigan. In addition to therapy, my clinical training includes medical and geriatric social work. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in various industries in different administrative positions, including Student Psychological Counseling and Disability Services at a university.
I look forward to connecting and walking alongside you on your journey. Feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation or contact me with any questions.
My Style & Approach
Therapy with me is warm, direct, and collaborative. I create a space where you can speak openly about your experiences, even the parts that feel confusing, frustrating, or hard to name.
My therapeutic style is respectful, direct, and compassionate. My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative that is trauma-informed, person-centered and strengths-based customized for you.
I strive to provide reliable and quality care built on evidence-based practices and professionalism, without judgment, in a warm, safe space where you can be yourself and feel comfortable exploring and implementing growth and change together.
Whether you're looking to resolve current life stressors, or want to heal from deeper pain, my goal is to help you identify areas in your life that you wish to address and learn effective ways to handle or change them. I'll challenge and support you in developing ways to work through, adapt to, improve, or overcome your concerns.
Together, we’ll focus on building practical skills and tools — like mindfulness, cognitive reframing, and boundary setting — through thoughtful questions, clear feedback, and exploring situations from different perspectives. We’ll also make space to process pain and work through old wounds so you can move forward with more clarity. Throughout our sessions, I’ll check in to ensure you’re getting what you need and always welcome your feedback.
I view therapy as an essential part of overall wellness—there doesn’t have to be something 'wrong' to begin. I believe in the principles of Dr. Becky Kennedy’s 'Good Inside' philosophy: the belief that we are all inherently good, and that our behaviors are often indicators of unmet needs rather than definitions of who we are.
My hope is that each session you feel heard, supported and empowered taking away new insights, skills, and a sense of agency.
I look forward to connecting with you.
