It’s Nice to Meet You
Hello and welcome, I’m Bree.
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker, with over a decade of experience specializing in supporting adults through difficulties in all stages of life.
Examples of areas I enjoy helping with are: academic stress and life transitions in young adulthood, parenting, life-balance in middle adulthood, and changes in health, functioning, social networks, and living arrangements in older adulthood. I have advanced understanding in supporting women in perimenopause and managing ADHD in adulthood.
Being a therapist is a privilege. I’ve always had curiosity and interest in behavior and the ways we interact with one another. I love learning about life stories, hearing about different experiences, thoughts, perspectives and seeing vulnerability and growth.
Clients and colleagues have described me as “nurturing, “personable”, “reliable” and “warm.” Empathy, compassion and authenticity come naturally to me, including in our work together. Throughout our sessions, I will check in with you to make sure you’re getting what you need and always welcome your feedback.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at California State University Fullerton and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work, with a Specialist in Aging Certificate at the University of Michigan. In addition to therapy, my clinical training includes medical and geriatric social work. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in various industries in different administrative positions, including Student Psychological Counseling and Disability Services at a university.
I look forward to connecting and walking alongside you on your journey. Feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation or contact me with any questions.
